Dr Saifi is an experienced hair transplant physician who has been performing quality follicular unit hair transplantation surgery and also specialises in repairing inadequate hair transplants. He has, unlike some other surgeons who also work in cosmetic surgery, has worked solely as a hair transplant surgeon for the last 8 years. He has worked with patients from many different ethnic backgrounds. He has been proactive in training the physicians and staff in Dubai and Hong Kong. In 1998 he designed a surgical tool used in hair transplant surgery. This was then patented in his name.
Dr Saifi’s goal is to integrate surgical expertise, artistry, professionalism, and extensive experience to exceed his patients expectations.

Linear strip method- with Trichophytic wound closure.

A Trichophytic closure is a way of improving the linear donor scars of hair transplant patients. A Trichophytic incision in hair transplantation involves trimming off the upper edge of the incision and then closing the wound in such a way the hair near the edge can grow through the scar. This has the potential to produce a scar that is virtually undetectable.

Unlike most surgeons who use the linear strip method the scar is not detectable soon after surgery meaning you look natural at every stage of the process. This method has the advantage of rapid results as up to 3000 grafts can be transplanted within one session. No bandages are used and a faster healing time than ever before. The results are completely natural and undetectable. This state of the art procedure harvests grafts for the hair transplant surgery using a linear incision. The procedure is done under local anaesthetics and is not painful. Using a micro surgical technique, natural follicular units are densely packed into the thinning and balding area. This creates a natural hairline and a great looking head of hair. You will see hair start to grow back in 8 to 26 weeks the same colour and texture as your own hair.

Neografting

In addition to conventional techniques Dr Saifi offers neografting with no donor incisions and no donor scar - a technique also known as follicular unit extraction FUE.

Hair transplant involves relocation of hair follicles from the back and the sides of your head. Suitable follicles are dissected under a microscope and transplanted into thinning and balding areas. Single hairs are transplanted into the hair line to produce a natural looking result. The procedure takes three to four hours under a local anesthetics. You will see hair start to grow back in 8 to 26 weeks. It will be the same colour and texture as your natural hair. Month by month you will see it getting longer and stronger looking.

One of the key benefits of this outpatient procedure is that there is no linear incision needed in the donor area. Therefore, there is no linear scar, no stitches, and no bandages. Plus, if multiple sessions are needed, they can be done within weeks of each other. (The time between traditional linear sessions is usually 6 months.) The result in Neografting is a faster healing time and less disruption to your busy schedule.

Dr. Saifi, an experienced hair transplant physician, who has been performing quality follicular unit hair transplantation surgery since 1995, and also specializes in repairing inadequate hair transplants. He improved the procedure by creating a device called The Hemostatic Dilater which was patented under his name, (Dr. Saifi, United States patent, number 5,797,945 August 25, 1998). Dr. Saifi's goal is to integrate surgical expertise, artistry, professionalism, and extensive experience to exceed his patients expectations.

Dr. Saifi was associated with Nu/ Hart Hair Clinic and worked with their clinics based in New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, San Juan, PR, and Dubai, UAE and trained physicians in their Hong Kong site.

Prior to that, he was affiliated with the Body Enhancement & Lipo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he worked under the guidance of Dr. Gregory Pierce for several years.

Dr. Saifi is an expert in the art of administration of Botox and Dermal fillers, he completed his training at the Empire Medical Training, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Dr. Saifi trained in general surgery in Poland where he successfully completed an internship and post-graduate training in general surgery at the Department of General and Oncological Surgery, Wroclaw Medical University,Wroclaw, Poland

He obtained his M.D. degree at the Wroclaw Medical University, 1989 where he also completed a general internship. He completed his pre-medicine curriculum and certificate at lodz University, Lodz, Poland

Dr.Saifi also has several publications in international journals and lectures at international conference to his credit. He was awarded a certificate of recognition for assistance in medical education, Intern Class, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was also on the organizing committee of the 2d scientific conference of endoscopic surgery in Wroclaw, Poland.

Dr. Marwan Saifi is a U.S. Citizen and resides in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, with his family. In 2008 he established the Hair Transplant & Aesthetic Medicine Center in Wroclaw, Poland
