Vaginal tightening and Labia reduction

Vaginal tightening-The designer vagina: £1200

Vaginal tightening - sometimes referred to as the “designer vagina” - is a procedure that women choose to have, often after they have had children.
It can restore the same tightness to the vaginal tract as before they gave birth and repair the stress placed on the pelvic floor.as a result of pregnancy.
Some younger women, who may not have had children can feel that they are larger than normal and would like the vagina tightened.
All scarring is inside the vagina and is not visible from the outside.

The procedure is carried out under intravenous sedation - so the patient is asleep for the entire operation, which only takes about an hour to complete. The patient is asked to stay overnight in the clinic after the procedure in order to recover in comfort. All stitches used are dissolvable. They are particularly tough dissolvable stiches so that they do not perish in the environment of the vagina. From 2 weeks post-operation, it is advisable to take long baths to help the stitches to dissolve.

In summary, vaginal tightening not only tightens the entrance of the vagina but also the muscles and supporting structures deeper in the walls of the vagina.
While it is always important to be realistic about expectations, women who have had vaginal tightening report more pleasurable lovemaking for both themselves and their partner. It also helps to raise patient’s self-esteem; enabling them to enjoy a more satisfying sex life.

Some patients choose to have labia reduction at the same time as vaginal tightening.

Labia Reduction  £800

The size, the shape, and the skin colouration of the labia vary according to the woman and are not anatomically symmetrical.

In the course of a woman’s life, her labia can become over-sized by the mechanical stresses occurred during sexual intercourse, masturbation, childbirth, lymphatic congestion, chronic dermatitis, and the inflammation caused by urinary incontinence. Labial over-sizing can also be caused by the mechanical stresses inherent to the cultural practice of genital piercing. Furthermore, over-sized labia can be a genetically inherited anatomical feature of the woman’s vulva.

Women seeking the surgical reduction of over-sized labia can present in a number of ways: labial asymmetry - causing awkward vulvo-vaginal hygiene (e.g. toilet-paper attaching to the labia); the catching of the labia in garment-zips; pubic discomfort when wearing tight clothes; pubic-area pain when practicing sport (bicycling, running, etc), a disrupted or a diffused urinary stream; and painful sexual intercourse.

Generally, the woman’s most common complaint is based on self-perception that, when observed in the standing position, her labia minora protrude too far beyond the labia majora. This physical condition often leads to low self-esteem, and subsequent difficulty in achieving emotional and sexual intimacy in her private life.
Labiaplasty can be safely performed any time after sexual maturity (to a woman who is a minimum of 18 years of age). It can be performed either before or after pregnancy. Labiaplasty is not performed on a woman who is menstruating, to avoid any risk of post-operative infection. Labiaplasty is performed on a patient under intravenous sedation, with the patient asleep.

The reduced labia are often very swollen during the early post-operative period and the patient will be instructed in the proper cleansing of the surgical-wound site, and the application of antibiotic ointment to the reduced labia.

Women can resume physically undemanding work 3–4 days post-operation. Moreover, to allow the full and proper healing of the labiaplasty surgical wounds, women are instructed not to use tampons, not to wear tight clothes (e.g. thong underwear), and to abstain from sexual intercourse for 4-weeks post-procedure.
All stitches used are dissolvable. They are particularly tough dissolvable stiches so that they do not perish in the environment of the vagina. From 2 weeks post-operation, it is advisable to take long baths to help the stitches to dissolve.
